Trawick, however, has not been granted any direct responsibility for managing Spears's assets.
Spears has been the subject of a court-ordered conservatorship - where a person is deemed unable to make legal, financial or medical decisions for themselves - since February 2008.
Her father applied to the court following a deterioration in her health and a number of public incidents in which she appeared to behave erratically.
Spears and Trawick became engaged in December 2011.
