Lara Bingle has complained that nude photographs taken of her by a paparazzi photographer are a "complete violation" of her privacy.

A number of images of the model standing naked inside her penthouse apartment were shown pixellated on Nine Network TV show A Current Affair and are reportedly up for sale through a picture agency owned by Bingle's friend Darryn Lyons.

Speaking on Kyle Sandilands's breakfast radio programme The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Bingle said: "It's a complete violation of privacy; I was so unaware of it.

"There should be a law against someone shooting inside your house... it's just not right. I wouldn't be walking around nude on the balcony."

Bingle explained that she was inside her house - not on the balcony, as was originally reported - and suggested that the photographer would have had to have obtained access to a neighbouring apartment to get the shot.

She added that she has since screened off her windows and put up blinds and said that her friendship with Lyons would be over if he tried to profit from the photographs in any way.

"I called him but he never returned my calls so there must be something up," Bingle added. "I don't know whether he bought them to protect me, or if he bought them to make money off me."

Lyons has not yet made comment.

A photograph of Bingle reportedly taken by her ex-boyfriend Brendon Fevola was leaked to Australian media two years ago.
