Michael Captuo, a former employee of the Peninsula Hotel, claims that Travolta was banned from the venue's spa for three years due to "inappropriate behaviour" with staff.
He told the New York Daily News: "Travolta would always request a man for his massage, but after a while no-one would take him. It got to the point where they couldn't find any men to take him, and they had to ban him."
Caputo claims that male employees of the establishment would often accuse Travolta of "removing his towel, grinding against the massage table and lifting his butt in the air".
After complaints to hotel officials, Travolta was eventually removed from its blacklist.
Representatives from the Peninsula hotel have yet to corroborate Caputo's claims.
Travolta has been accused by three massage therapists of sexual misconduct.
He has denied the claims and plans to launch a prosecution lawsuit against his accusers.
His attorney Marty Singer maintains that Caputo's story is false.
"If he was banned, do you think he'd ever go back?" Singer said. "He's never been banned, I guarantee you... The hotel never told John he was banned, and John never acted improperly."
