Khloe Kardashian offered $150k settlement in assault case

A woman claiming that Khloe Kardashian assaulted her outside a Hollywood nightclub is now offering to throw out a pending lawsuit if Kardashian pays her $150,000 (£93,000).

Chantal Spears filed her suit in December, accusing Kardashian of pushing her in front of a club in 2009.

The 27-year-old star of Keeping up with the Kardashians denied the allegations, claiming the alleged assault was in self-defence.

TMZ reports that Spears is now wanting to settle the case out of court, and still demands money for "mental and emotional anxiety" caused by the incident.

Kardashian has formed a counter-suit, maintaining that Spears has yet to prove what her so-called damages are despite being asked by the court several times.

The case has yet to be settled and awaits a judge's ruling.

Kardashian was recently sued by a consumer of the Quicktrim diet, after her claims about the product did not work.
