Carrey declared his love for Stone in a video posted on his official website last year, in which he said he would marry the actress if he were younger.
"We would have chubby little freckle-faced kids, we'd laugh all day long, go camping and play Yahtzee. Tell ghost stories by the fire," Carrey said.
Stone reacted to Carrey's declaration of love in a newly published interview with Vulture.
"I was so flattered I can't even tell you. Honest," she declared.
Stone continued: "I've always had like weird connections with men in their 40s and 50s. I mean, not in a creepy way.
"I've never been attracted to them. But I have always become, like, pals with guys in that age group."

Carrey has described his declaration of love to Stone as a "comedy routine", but added that "everything I said is true".
Stone next stars in The Amazing Spider-Man, opening in cinemas on July 3.
