Lindsay Lohan 'was prohibited from driving on Liz & Dick'

Lindsay Lohan was apparently prohibited from driving while shooting Liz & Dick prior to her car crash earlier this month.

The Mean Girls actress was on her way to the set of the upcoming Elizabeth Taylor biopic when her Porsche collided with an 18-wheeler truck.



Lohan was later treated at a Los Angeles hospital, and returned to the set just hours later.

Sources connected to Liz & Dick have told TMZ that the insurance policy that production took out had conditions including a driving ban for Lohan in light of past incidents.

Producers of the Lifetime movie were allegedly aware that Lohan was violating the policy by driving, but apparently did not care until her crash.

There is no word on how the incident will affect the policy, but the 25-year-old actress is now reportedly banned from driving for the remainder of the shoot.
