The 'Birthday Cake' singer filed the suit on Thursday (July 5), blaming the ex-accountants for bad bookkeeping, an ongoing audit by the IRS, and failing to recommend that she cut down on expenses during her struggling 2009 tour.

The AP reports that Rihanna claims her 'Last Girl on Earth' tour had "significant net losses", while her accountants pocketed 22% of the tour's earnings and paid her only 6%.
Rihanna fired the accounting firm in September 2010, and states that her profits have increased by more than 40% since leaving the company.
According to the court filing, the singer is seeking unspecified damages from the New York-based firm.
Last year, the popstar sued a Los Angeles real estate company over the purchase of a multi-million dollar home, saying that it was structurally unsound.
