"I was hooked after my first bite!" Perry said in a statement. "When I discover something good, I want to share it with everyone I know, so I tweeted about it."
Popchips later approached the star about the collaboration and she immediately agreed. Perry is also said to have become an investor and creative partner in the company, joining fellow celebrities including Ashton Kutcher, David Ortiz and Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

Earlier this month, the 25-year-old promised that her next album will be darker than her record-breaking 2010 release Teenage Dream.
