The Seinfeld star has announced that he will host gigs at four different New York City comedy clubs on Thursdays from October 4 to November 8.
He apparently chose Thursdays as it is the day on which his classic series Seinfeld aired in the 1990s.
The comic's return to his hometown will also feature opening sets by his long-time friend and associate Colin Quinn.
Seinfeld said of his return to New York City: "I was born in Brooklyn, went to school in Queens and started out as a comedian in Manhattan. I feel like New York City taught me how to be funny.
"I'm so excited to perform a special series of shows for my beloved hometown."
Tickets for these shows go on sale next week.
Seinfeld is currently starring in the new web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which features guests Larry David and Alec Baldwin.
