Janet Jackson has denied slapping niece Paris Jackson during an allegedly heated altercation at the family's California home.
The incident apparently was spurred by Katherine Jackson's supposed disappearance. It was later revealed that Katherine was with family in Arizona.

Paris used Twitter to demand the return of her grandmother, leading to Janet, Randy Jackson and Jermaine Jackson coming to speak with them at their Calabasas house.
An argument reportedly broke out between Paris and her aunt Janet, with Janet allegedly slapping the teen and her calling a "spoiled bitch" when asked to leave.
Janet's attorney Blair G Brown has now denied such an incident took place and threatened legal action against the as-yet-unnamed source who went public with the story.
"Ms Jackson did not slap Paris, and did not call her a 'spoiled little bitch' or a 'bitch'… [These] false statements are highly damaging to Ms Jackson's reputation and have caused her significant harm," Brown told The Insider.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Janet, Randy and Jermaine have been banned from visiting their mother Katherine, who has returned to California.
Guardianship of the late Michael Jackson's children was transferred last week from Katherine to Tito Jackson's son TJ Jackson.
