The Olympian announced the news via her Twitter page on Monday (August 6) - less than a day after she missed out on a medal in the sport, finishing in sixth place.
"Devastated! Thanks for the support from everyone and sorry for letting people down! Tried my best, just wasn't to be!" Bleasdale wrote following the loss.
However, the 20-year-old returned to the social networking site hours later to update her followers, writing: "6th in the Olympics and @bradshaaaw proposes to me :) epic day!!!"
Her fiancé Bradshaw shared the news via his own account, saying: "I have just proposed to @HollyBleasdale and she said yes!!!!! Best day ever!"
Bleasdale is the British record holder in the pole vault and cleared a height of 4.45m in Sunday's (August 5) final at the Olympic Stadium in Stratford, east London.
