"So yes its out there me and @JasonKenny107 are dating," Trott confirmed on Twitter."Been a little while now just didnt want the distraction before the games (sic)."
Kenny joined the social networking site today, his first post reading: "Finally been talked into getting twitter by @liamPHILLIPS65 good luck today, show em who's boss!!"
Trott won the gold medals in the team pursuit and omnium at the velodrome, while Kenny won golds in the men's sprint and in the team sprint with Chris Hoy and Philip Hindes.
