The former X Factor contestant asked Twitter followers to #PrayForMullingarBoys last night following the loss of Quentin Reilly and the hospitalisation of Scott Hogan and Lee Scally, all from his Irish hometown.
"Hope the lads make a full recovery," he tweeted. "Also quentin will be missed , thoughts with the reilly family at this time."
The accident happened midday on Saturday (August 18) on the Mullingar to Killucan road.
All three were taken to hospital and Reilly, who is in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore later that afternoon.
One of Hogan and Scally - both in their 30s - was in a critical condition as of last night (August 19), while the other has non life-threatening injuries.
