The 'You & I' singer is open to publishing the book containing "her thoughts, feelings, sketches, pictures" and letters to her mother as "a gift" to fans, according to the Daily Star.
"As she tours the world, GaGa notes everything down in her journal," a source said. "She keeps it all together as a memento, so that if she ever has children they'll be able to read all about their popstar mum.
"She often talks about how funny it would be to publish it. But if she did, her decision wouldn't be based on money, it would be for the fans. GaGa would consider it to be a gift to them."
GaGa caused a stir during a 'Born This Way Ball' concert in Amsterdam this week when she smoked cannabis on stage.
The star can be heard rapping on a new track released online entitled 'Cake Like Lady GaGa'.
