The former Australian MasterChef contestant, who is also a lifeguard, has been rumoured to be dating Fitzgibbons since January but he has insisted that they have been friends for years.
Quinn told The Daily Telegraph: "I am definitely single. Sally and I are mates. We have known each other for years just through the beaches and obviously we get along really well.
"But she is a world champion surfer and I'm a bit of a busy lad so we just hang out when we can. But we're not in a relationship."
Yesterday, Quinn was revealed as one of the finalists for CLEO magazine's 'Bachelor of the Year' awards. Other potential winners include Neighbours actor Chris Milligan, X Factor finalist Johnny Ruffo, Packed to the Rafters star Ryan Corr and pro skateboarder Corbin Harris.
After taking part in MasterChef, Quinn was forced to also deny a romance with fellow contestant Ellie Paxton-Hall.
