The 'Lifetime Achievement' Award and 'Special Achievement' Award both went to EastEnders, awarded to actress Pam St Clement (Pat Evans) and writer Simon Ashdown respectively.
The Walford soap won three other panel-voted awards, with Jo Joyner (Tanya Jessop) winning for 'Best Dramatic Performance' and Lorna Fitzgerald (Abi Branning) for 'Best Young Performance'. Joyner also took home a joint award for 'Best On-Screen Partnership' with Jake Wood (Max Branning).
Coronation Street took four of the panel-voted awards, including 'Best Single Episode' for 'Becky's Final Farewell', and Best Comedy Performance for Stephanie Cole (Sylvia Goodwin)
In the viewer-voted categories, Coronation Street had the edge, taking home three gongs, including 'Best Actress' for Alison King (Carla Connor) and 'Villain of the Year' for Andrew Lancel (Frank Foster).
Last year's 'Sexiest Male' and 'Sexiest Female', Scott Maslen and Michelle Keegan, both won again.
EastEnders won the overall Best British Soap award.
Emmerdale also took home three awards. Danny Miller repeated his 'Best Actor' win from last year, while the programme won both 'Spectacular Scene' Of The Year and 'Best Storyline'.
Presenters included Emma Bunton and Melanie C, Robert Bathurst, Bradley Walsh, Danny Dyer and Rupert Everett.
