'Emmerdale' stunt, Corrie proposal, Enders triangle, 'Oaks Nancy drama

By
Emmerdale's Barton family are hit by tragedy later this month as John and Moira have a horrific car accident.

The estranged couple have been on bad terms for weeks in the aftermath of Moira's affair with Cain Dingle, but upcoming episodes see them realise that their marriage is worth fighting for.

After calling off plans to divorce his wife, John (James Thornton) agrees when the kids suggest that he and Moira (Natalie J Robb) should spend the night at a hotel together as they try to work things out.

The pair feel shy and apprehensive as they head off in Andy Sugden's Land Rover for their night away, but the awkward mood begins to lift when John pulls out a cassette tape of music that Moira gave him when they first got together.

Moira is touched that John has kept the gift for all these years and they reminisce over times gone by as they drive along listening to it.

Suddenly, though, disaster strikes as John hits a patch of ice in the road and the vehicle skids at high speed, crashing through an obstruction and landing on its side in the darkness. Is it the end for John and Moira?

Tyrone (Alan Halsall) is left gutted in the coming days when Tommy tells him that he's convinced Kirsty is having an affair, having spotted her meeting up with another man in secret.

Kirsty immediately decides to end things with Tyrone as she's shocked by his lack of trust in her, but the Weatherfield mechanic is desperate to win her back.

Calling at the police station, Tyrone begs Kirsty for a second chance. She tries to ignore him, but when Tyrone goes down on one knee and proposes, it seems like Kirsty could have got exactly what she wants!

Coming up on EastEnders, Tyler, Whitney and Fat Boy's love triangle will soon come to a head as scheming Lucy Beale stirs things up between them.

As Fat Boy (Ricky Norwood) begins an unpaid trial doing DJ work at the R&R, a number of his friends head to the club to support him. While there, Lucy tries flirting with Tyler (Tony Discipline) and when he rejects her, she decides to cause some trouble - falsely telling him that Fat Boy is about to propose to Whitney.

Aware that Fat Boy has bought tickets for a trip to Paris as a surprise for Whitney (Shona McGarty), Lucy then takes her plot a step further by convincing him to announce the gift over the club's sound system.

Desperate for Whitney not to accept what he thinks will be a marriage proposal, Tyler tells her that he really likes her. What will Whitney do?

An EastEnders insider explained: "Tyler and Whitney have been trying to hide their feelings for each other for months now, and when Tyler thinks that Fat Boy is going to propose, he decides enough is enough.

"Whitney is shocked when he admits his true feelings, but is torn as she hears Fat Boy announce the romantic trip to Paris he has planned for them. Will she follow her head or her heart?"

Zara (Elisabeth Dermot-Walsh) panics as she goes into premature labour at The Mill, especially as Daniel (Matthew Chambers) isn't around and nobody is able to reach him.

However, with Cherry by her side, Zara's baby is delivered and she's delighted as she becomes a mother.

Later, at the hospital, Zara and Daniel are anxious as their newborn child needs close observation. After naming him Joe, it's not long before the pair are back to their bickering ways as Daniel heads out for supplies and Zara complains that he's brought back all of the wrong things.
