Home and Away star Lincoln Younes has revealed that his character Casey Braxton will find himself involved in a hostage situation in an upcoming storyline.

Things go horribly wrong for Casey after he moves in with his villainous father Danny (Andy McPhee), keen to find out what he is up to once and for all.

Casey initially thinks that his plan is working well, but he is soon horrified when Danny forces him to be his accomplice as he attempts to carry out an armed robbery.

Younes told TV Week: "[Casey is] basically committed to the double agent act and because of this, he's decided that no matter what, he will get close to his dad in the hope that he will find out something dodgy about him and send him back to jail where he belongs.

"He realises how dangerous Danny truly is, and what that ends up leading to is a mess that involves him in an armed robbery."

Who will be held hostage in the robbery and where the incident takes place are yet to be confirmed.

However, as Casey is left terrified by the plans that Danny has for him, help could be on the way as Brax (Steve Peacocke) and Natalie (Catherine Mack) head to the scene.

Younes added: "They put two and two together and figure out what's going on and rush straight there, because they're very worried. Natalie, because she's met Danny and has heard all the stories from Brax, and Brax has lived through what he's like, so it's a high-risk situation."

Reports suggest that a gun will be fired as the plot reaches its climax, but details of what happens next are being kept under wraps until transmission.

Home and Away airs these scenes next week on Network Seven in Australia, and in October on Channel 5 in the UK.
