'If a Tree Falls'

Daniel awakes to a storm raging outside and hears baby Joe crying. Zara tells him to go, but Joe stops crying and Daniel drifts back to sleep. When he awakes, he is in a strange room in a huge house. Downstairs, he finds Zara with a 16-year-old boy. Daniel asks where they are and who the boy is. Zara claims the boy is Joe, shocked at his odd behaviour.

Zara notices Daniel's head is bleeding and he passes out. Later, Daniel comes round in a hospital with Zara telling the consultant that Daniel is a heavy drinker and had an argument with their son last night. Daniel defends himself - he doesn't drink and his son is a baby!

As Daniel's bizarre dream continues, he meets a pretty 20-year-old girl, who turns out to be Izzie. She confirms it is 2025 and reveals she is training to be a doctor. Daniel is proud and then asks to go home. At the huge mansion, however, Joe is packing his things. He is short with Daniel, revealing that Zara has left him, their relationship has been stale for years and he's always been a rubbish dad.

Devastated, Daniel realises that he needs to permanently leave this reality. He climbs the stairs and steps over the banister as Izzie and Joe scream at him to come down. Daniel tells Joe that he has to do this to save their relationship - he can fix it in the past so this future will never happen. Will Daniel jump?
