The actress, who played Zoe Slater for five years until 2005, recalled an incident in America when she was promoting Bionic Woman.
She told The Independent: "I remember I was in the US doing pictures for Bionic Woman at this hotel, and I heard someone go, 'Zoe! Zoe!'"
"I don't think I'll ever get away from it completely," the 28-year-old added.
Despite ruling out an Albert Square return in 2008, she has been linked with reprising her role on a number of occasions.
The 28-year-old will next be seen alongside Peter Mullan and David Harewood in crime thriller The Man Inside, which is released in cinemas on July 27.
