Ex-'EastEnders' star Michelle Ryan: 'I'll never get away from Zoe'

Michelle Ryan has predicted that members of the general public will continue to always refer to her EastEnders character.

The actress, who played Zoe Slater for five years until 2005, recalled an incident in America when she was promoting Bionic Woman.

She told The Independent: "I remember I was in the US doing pictures for Bionic Woman at this hotel, and I heard someone go, 'Zoe! Zoe!'"

"I don't think I'll ever get away from it completely," the 28-year-old added.

Despite ruling out an Albert Square return in 2008, she has been linked with reprising her role on a number of occasions.

The 28-year-old will next be seen alongside Peter Mullan and David Harewood in crime thriller The Man Inside, which is released in cinemas on July 27.
