'EastEnders' Janine, Michael face baby trauma - unseen pictures

These are the first pictures showing the ordeal ahead for EastEnders couple Janine Butcher and Michael Moon as their premature baby daughter fights for her life in hospital.

As expected, Janine (Charlie Brooks) will give birth several weeks early in the coming days, leaving her and Michael in turmoil as they wonder whether their newborn child will pull through.

Viewers will see Michael (Steve John Shepherd) and Janine anxiously keep watch by the youngster's incubator at the hospital, knowing that their child is very ill.

Struggling to cope with the situation, an emotional Janine takes her anguish out on a young nurse - before openly wondering whether she and Michael are being punished for everything they have done wrong…
