'Friday Night Lights' finale on NBC pulls in 3.5m

NBC's screening of the Friday Night Lights finale picked up a respectable audience on Friday night, early viewing figures indicate.

Starring Kyle Chandler, the season five finale of the American football drama pulled in 3.5m for the Peacock Network between 8pm and 9.30pm.

After Friday Night Lights, Dateline interested 5m, while rival current affairs magazine show 20/20 had 4.6m for ABC.

CBS's showings of Flashpoint (8pm), a CSI: NY repeat (9pm) and an old edition of Blue Bloods (10pm) took respective audiences of 6m, 6.3m and 6.3m, while ABC's reruns of Shark Tank (8pm) and Primetime: What Would You Do (9pm) entertained 4.3m and 4m.

Over on Fox, a Bones and House catchup nabbed 3.1m and 2.5m, while Smallville and Supernatural repeats mustered 1.2m and 1.1m for The CW.
