The tentatively-titled Candy Queen focuses on Jackie Sorkin and her Los Angeles-based candy and events company The Hollywood Candy Girls.
"Candy Queen joins TLC's larger-than-life workplace series," said Howard Lee, the network's Senior Vice President of Production and Development. "Like Cake Boss and LA Ink, [the series reveals] the mouthwatering art of Jackie's business and the sweet and sour side of balancing a career, a family, and everything else."
Candy Queen is being produced by Half Yard Productions, the company behind Say Yes to the Dress and Bravo's Real Housewives of DC.
Six half-hour episodes of Candy Queen will premiere in late 2011.
Last month, TLC announced that it will be airing a one-hour special focused on Pippa Middleton. Titled Crazy About Pippa, the special will premiere tonight at 9pm.
The network recently broadcast Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo's wedding ceremony in the special Nick and Vanessa's Dream Wedding. The couple later admitted to watching their own marriage on TV.
