Matthew Perry's comedy pilot Go On has been ordered to series by NBC.

The show will now be able to start staffing and picking available writers, reports Deadline.

Go On is about a sportscaster who attends therapy sessions to help him move on from a loss. He subsequently finds a surprising support system with members of his sessions.

The show will also feature Laura Benanti of Playboy Club, Allison Miller of Terra Nova, Transformers actress Julie White as Anne and Suzy Nakamura.

Perry will reunite with Friends writer Scott Silveri on the comedy, for which he will also serve as a co-showrunner.

Perry previously appeared in CBS's The Good Wife in a villainous role as Mike Kresteva, the head of a blue ribbon panel to which Alicia (Julianna Margulies) is assigned.
