Speaking to Reuters, Grammer said he doesn't understand why he was passed over for an Emmy nomination.
"[The snub] hurts a lot. It is a little confusing, actually," the star confessed.
He added: "I still don't know what to make of it. I am still not sure how it happened, but I am stuck with it, so there we go."

Grammer previously suggested that he may have been snubbed by the Emmys because he is a Republican.
"It may have to do with several things, honestly, but I think it's possible [that it's because] I'm a declared out-of-the-closet Republican in Hollywood," he said.
"It's possible that some young person, young voting actor - or even older voting member for the Emmys - would sit there and go, 'Yeah, that's a great performance, but ooh, I just hate everything he stands for'."
Grammer has been honoured by the Emmys in the past, earning four trophies for Frasier and one for The Simpsons.
