Wednesday ratings: 'Arrow' return down, 'Ironside' drops

ABC and CBS were tied in the preliminary 18-49 demo ratings on Wednesday, while CBS won the most viewers overall.

On ABC, The Middle was down a tenth from last week to 2.2 (8.12m) at 8pm. Back in the Game dropped two to 1.7 (6.44m) at 8.30pm.

Modern Family easily won the night, but dropped four to 3.8 (10.43m) at 9pm. Super Fun Night tumbled seven to 2.5 (6.67m) at 9.30pm. Nashville fell two to 1.7 (5.86m) at 10pm.

On CBS, Survivor dipped three to 2.4 (9.46m) at 8pm. Criminal Minds was down one to 2.6 (10.90m) at 9pm, while CSI dropped two to 1.9 (8.78m) at 10pm.

Fox's The X Factor fell two from last week to 2.2 (7.14m) at 8-10pm.

On NBC, Revolution fell a tenth to a new series low of 1.5 (5.37m) at 8pm. Law & Order: SVU dropped four to 1.6 (5.37m) at 9pm. Ironside was down two from last week to 1.1 (5.23m) at 10pm.

The CW's season two premiere of Arrow dropped four tenths from last year's opener to 0.9 (2.68m) at 8pm, which matches the finale episode.

The Tomorrow People achieved a score of 0.8 (2.34m) at 9pm, equalling Supernatural's opener in the same slot last year.
