Robin Williams: 'Fringe role would be amazing'

Robin Williams has revealed that he would like to appear on Fringe.

The Mrs Doubtfire star told TV Line that he is a fan of the Fox sci-fi drama, which stars Anna Torv and Joshua Jackson.



"My God, Fringe would be amazing," said Williams, who last appeared on television in a 2008 episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

The actor added that he would even consider joining Fringe as a full-time cast member.

"F**kin' A, yeah, I'd do it - if it was fun," he claimed.

Williams first rose to fame for his role in ABC sci-fi sitcom Mork & Mindy, and will appear in a forthcoming episode of FX comedy Wilfred.

Fringe continues on Fridays at 9/8c on Fox. In the UK, the series airs on Sky1.
