Two of the network's freshman sitcoms have also been renewed for a second season, with Up All Night and Whitney getting new runs.

Entertainment Weekly is also reporting that The Office has been picked up for its ninth season, although it has yet to be officially confirmed.

Earlier today, it was claimed that John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer and Ed Helms have all agreed to reprise their roles in The Office.

Last month, Fischer revealed that the "whole cast" of The Office hopes to return for another season.

Co-star Mindy Kaling, however, will have her hands full on another network as three of her pilots were picked up by Fox.
