The September 13 episode will be titled 'The New Rachel', TVLine has confirmed.
"She's starting fresh, [with] the challenges of New York and being there alone," explained show exec Brad Falchuk.
Lea Michele (Rachel) recently revealed that her character will have a "challenging dynamic" with her new dance teacher at NYADA (guest star Kate Hudson).
"[Her teaching philosophy is] one based on negative reinforcement," said Falchuk. "Rachel has to get used to that."
Michele previously admitted that she is "so sad" to be working apart from co-star and boyfriend Cory Monteith, following the on-screen break-up of Rachel and Finn.
Glee airs on Fox in the US and on Sky1 in the UK.
