The Project Runway judge revealed in an interview with Parade that season ten is the most shocking in the competition's eight-year history.
"We have some really great designers. I think we have two or three breakout stars, and of course, we have some drama," Klum teased. "We had two designers who left in the middle of the night, which we never had happen before."
She continued: "[These two] literally packed up their bags and left, to our surprise. They never even said goodbye. They just took off. They just couldn't make it work! They were overwhelmed by it all. It is tough. People don't understand how tough it really is."
Klum was also asked about her all-time favourite Project Runway moment.
"I have to say the very first episode because it was when Austin Scarlett made the cornhusk dress," she answered. "We were debating for a few days if we should make that the first challenge.
"We sent the contestants to the grocery store with $50, and we were worried that it might turn into an arts and crafts project, but it was perfect because it set the tone of the show and proved that these designers could actually make real-looking fashion with unconventional materials. I will never forget that."
Project Runway airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Lifetime.
