The waitress and part-time singer, 25, told viewers on Wednesday night's Aspen auditions episode that people often called her Lady GaGa when they saw her walking down the street.
"She makes everything a performance and that's sort of how I like to sing," she said. "I would like to open for her and be best friends with her forever. I'm the next American Idol, I think, because there hasn't really been anybody else like me."

The self-professed "vintage glitter queen" went for a show tune in her audition, which impressed Jennifer Lopez but not Randy Jackson, who said that show tunes brought out a bravado in singers that he didn't like.
Lopez disagreed, pointing out that not many people could come into an audition and do what Angie had done.
She decided to prove Jackson wrong by asking Angie to sing a second track.
Luckily for Angie, the second track changed Jackson's mind ("I like you, you're in your own world!") and she booked her ticket to Hollywood with three yeses from the judges.
American Idol airs Wednesdays and Thursdays on Fox.
