'American Idol' poll result: Skylar Laine named worst of Top 5

By
Skylar Laine has been named the worst act of American Idol's Top 5 by Digital Spy readers.

The 17-year-old country singer failed to impress with her covers of Credence Clearwater Revival's 'Fortunate Son' and Dusty Springfield's 'You Don't Have to Say You Love Me', pulling in only 9.3% of votes despite her popularity with the judges.

Not far ahead with 11.3% was Joshua Ledet, whose renditions of The Bee Gees' 'To Love Somebody' and The Temptations' 'Ain't Too Proud to Beg' left something to be desired.
