Hollie Cavanagh has become the latest contestant to be eliminated from the eleventh season of American Idol.
The 16-year-old was sent home during Thursday night's live results show after host Ryan Seacrest revealed that she had received the lowest number of public votes following her performances of 'I Can't Make You Love Me' and 'Faithfully'.
The remaining contestants who will move on to become the Top 3 are Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet and Phillip Phillips.
Judge Jennifer Lopez also took to the stage during the broadcast to perform her single 'Dance Again', while former American Idol winner David Cook appeared for a rendition of his new song 'The Last Song I'll Ever Write For You'.
Digital Spy users once again voted Sanchez as their favourite performer of the week with over a third of the reader vote, while Phillips, Ledet and Cavanagh pulled in 19.6%, 12.8% and 20% of reader votes respectively.
The American Idol semi-finals will take place on Wednesday, May 16 and Thursday, May 17 at 8/7c on Fox.
